This system is made of a light and washable foam, providing precise and repeatable positioning for those who suffer from breast cancer. This positioning aims to reduce the amount of radiation reaching patient’s heart and lungs, in patients who are candidates for breast radiotherapy without involvement of lymph nodes. In this position, the uniformity of that radiation increases while the amount of cutaneous side effects of the treatment decreases.
